Little Glee Monster -- magic!

Just plain dreary out there although the worst of the rain is now over. Hopefully, things will be a little more cheerful tomorrow.

Last week, I was watching NHK's "Uta Con"(うたコン)and vocal group Little Glee Monster was one of the performing guests. One thing that I noticed was that the quintet had shrunk to a trio for some reason. Checking the J-Wiki file, it looks like at least one of the five is on a sabbatical of sorts although on the page, LGM is still five-strong.

In any case, Little Glee Monster performed their newest song "magic!", one of their quintessentially happy tunes that is so new that it's officially not due in stores until tomorrow. In fact, as I type this, there is a countdown on LGM's YouTube channel for the premiere of their music video for "magic!" which will happen at 8 am Eastern Daylight Time on June 8th. Singer-songwriter Manabu Marutani(丸谷マナブ)provided words and music for this number about encouragement and just keeping on going with that head held high. The single will be their 20th known as a double-A since the title is "magic!/Ikinakucha"(生きなくちゃ...Gotta Live).
