Thanks to you all for your passion for this music.

Momoko is among my favorites, judging from the sheer number of tracks that I have listed as 4 or 5 stars on my iPod. :-) I just love BOYのテーマ too.ジョンhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00636517431604681378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501670448657416824.post-29119527931797586182013-03-22T12:35:12.284-04:002013-03-22T12:35:12.284-04:00I enjoy Momoko quite a bit. Her voice has a very naive feel that combines well with her songs.

But I must confess that my favorite songs from her are probably album-only tracks (I can't confirm because I don't know all of her compilations. To be honest, the only one that I've listened is the one featured in this post).

The songs I'm talking about are "ADVENTURE", "GOOD FRIEND", "MYSTICAL COMPOSER" (these three from the 86' "ADVENTURE" album), "Starlight Movement" and "Dreamin' Rider" (these two from the 87' "ESCAPE from DIMENSION" album).

"ADVENTURE" and "MYSTICAL COMPOSER" are, in my opinion, killer songs. I'm still searching for a "Yoru no Hit Studio" performance of "ADVENTURE" that I've seen a long time ago.Marcos V.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09531398685057099974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501670448657416824.post-87297097191126371502013-03-21T14:06:56.230-04:002013-03-21T14:06:56.230-04:00Momoko Kikuchi was a regular presence as I was wat...Momoko Kikuchi was a regular presence as I was watching all those old tapes of "The Best 10" and "Top 10" in the mid-80s. I always enjoyed that soft voice with the musical arrangements; I think in a way, she perhaps best represented the mid-tempo aidoru tune during that time. "Mou Aenai Kamo Shirenai", the first video from the top is a prime example. Of course, "Say Yes" is a Kikuchi staple that I usually saw her perform on those ranking shows.

Thanks indeed for the additional trivia...always enjoy those, and yep, I visited JMaru again last night. I liked listening to Kei Masuda's "Suzume".J-Canuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551828383307840403noreply@blogger.com
