Yeah, I think the "Japanese City Pop" that we both have will come in really handy for taking a look at Minami's discography. I'll have to check out "Last Picture Show" for sure. I've been considering getting another couple of discs for Xmas, and I'd just like to also hear the album that contains the quirky "Video City".J-Canuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09551828383307840403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501670448657416824.post-606711727824719812013-12-02T03:42:29.826-05:002013-12-02T03:42:29.826-05:00Time to catch up with this blog after being so occ...Time to catch up with this blog after being so occupied as of late.

Minami has really intrigued me for the past year and I'm currently in the process of acquiring his entire 70's and 80's discography. "Seventh Avenue South" may not be my favorite work of his ("Last Picture Show" from 1986 will always be the one), but I did thoroughly enjoy all the laid-back jazziness of it. "Chat Noir" is my favorite track here because of the rock elements. If you keep exploring Minami's other studio albums, you'll come across even more surprises but I won't spoil anything. He's very versatile and talented.nikalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03370403001114836904noreply@blogger.com
