EPO's 4th single didn't rank after its release in October 1982, but I still like it even for the fact that it was one of the first times for me to hear a Japanese singer actually scatting in a pop song.
I've been a fan of Japanese popular music for 40 years, and have managed to collect a lot of material during that time. So I decided I wanted to talk about Showa Era music with like-minded fans. My particular era is the 70s and 80s (thus the "kayo kyoku"). The plus part includes a number of songs and artists from the last 30 years and also the early kayo. So, let's talk about New Music, aidoru, City Pop and enka.

EPO -- Doyou no Yoru wa Paradise (土曜の夜はパラダイス)

Just bought Vitamin EPO. I'm googling the track names and romanizing them. Your blog came up. Glad you like 80s music too.
ReplyDeleteGlad you could come by, manuel. I'm hoping to get a copy of the album before Vitamin EPO, "Uwasa ni Naritai". If you have time, let me know how your album goes.
