Forgive me if I seem a bit distracted in my writing tonight. Y'see...I'm still awaiting my latest CD Japan package via my courier and it's a bit late in the day, so I've got one ear listening to the singer and one ear tuned in for any phone rings.
It's a pity as well since we're starting Friday night off with some classic City Pop via Anri's（杏里）"He's My Music". And isn't that a great title and compliment for a significant other? It's a wonderful mid-tempo radio-friendly number written and composed by Anri herself while Toshiki Kadomatsu（角松敏生）took care of the overall arrangement. All of those instruments come together for some pure City Pop flavour including some of that hearty trumpet.
"He's My Music" is a track from Anri's 7th original album "COOOL" which came out in June 1984. It peaked at No. 5 on Oricon.
