Mami Ayukawa -- Jinx wa Shinjinai(ジンクスは信じない)

Busy morning with the usual grocery shopping along with a banking issue to be resolved. Happily, both were resolved very amicably. The Force was with me or I didn't suffer any jinxes (no ladders, floor cracks or black cats got in my way).

And apparently, neither did singer-songwriter Mami Ayukawa(鮎川麻弥). Perhaps as her song title states, she truly doesn't believe in jinxes. "Jinx wa Shinjinai" (Don't Believe in Jinxes) is a track from her December 1986 5th album "Chase", and from the upbeat and somewhat updated Motown arrangement, the lass doesn't allow any bad vibes or bad luck to affect her at all. It's quite the catchy melody by Hideo Saito(斉藤英夫)with Keiko Aso(麻生圭子)behind the lyrics.
