Not so much for the particular albums, but for the artists themselves, this is a very memorable list. Just about everyone there were pretty much household names and images on the telly during those early years working in Tokyo. globe was just another diamond in the Tetsuya Komuro crown, along with his then-protege Tomomi Kahala and his wunderkind, Namie Amuro. And Tetsuro Oda, who was instrumental in the success of the 80s Beach Princes, TUBE, also got behind the explosive debut of urban rocker Nanase Aikawa.
