It's hard to believe but it's been over a dozen years since Charisma.com made its way onto the Japanese music scene with all of that electronica and rap. The first time I got to know them was through Marcos V.'s article on their collaboration with TEMPURA KIDZ (Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's backing dancers) in "Mummy Killer" (ミイラキラー) in 2014. Then, I caught Charisma.com's own tune "HATE" with rapper MC Itsuka and DJ Gonchi.
Since then, there have been some changes including Gonchi's departure several years ago and some changes in appearance with Itsuka. However, the MC is still in the house and releasing singles as a solo project with the old name. In fact, it was only a few weeks ago in June that Charisma.com released a new digital single titled "Mental Warp". We don't get to see Itsuka in the video proper but it's not only her rapping here but she's also singing up a storm. She also wrote the lyrics with Taiyo Doki providing the percussive melody.
