I would have thought that a song with that title would have the band standing in front of a well-worn jeep in the middle of some vast savannah with a ton of animals such as elephants and tigers.
Well, such as it is, we have here the fusion band Native Son（ネイティブ・サン）gallivanting on a beach somewhere on the cover of their 1979 single "Super Safari". Composed by central member and keyboardist Takehiro Honda（本田竹広）, it's a footloose and fancy-free tune that could make for the accompanying theme for any good-hearted if bumbling detective on a Japanese suspense-thriller. Kinda nice to have the boys back since it's been over three years since I last wrote about them back in 2022.
