Yudai Suzuki -- Midnight Calling

In my university days in the mid-1980s, I was accustomed to having some pretty long calls on a weekly basis past the midnight hour which got me my fair share of scolding from the parents. But then when I was living on my own from the mid-1990s onwards, I got older and crankier as I chewed out a few folks for calling me past 12 in the morning. Such is life.

Nearly a couple of years have passed since Yudai Suzuki's(鈴木雄大)presence on the blog as a singer, so I think that it's about time to bring him back on this City Pop Friday. He was responsible for both words and music behind his "Midnight Calling", a track from his sophomore album "YUDAI" from October 1983. For a midnight song, it's pretty hepped up as if to illustrate Suzuki's excitement about calling up his lady love at the witching hour; I hope that she's an understanding night owl type.
