Kazuko Utsumi -- Kaze wa Endless Story(風はエンドレスストーリー)

Looks like I found another intra-Onyanko Club(おニャン子クラブ)entry to put into "Kayo Kyoku Plus" next to ladies such as Marina Watanabe(渡辺満里奈)and Akiko Ikuina(生稲晃子).

Even before her time in Yasushi Akimoto's(秋元康)first big aidoru group in the mid-1980s, Kazuko Utsumi(内海和子)had had her time in the geinokai for a while as a child actress, but she took a respite to prep up for her high school entrance exams. Then, through the audition process, she, Sonoko Kawai(河合その子)and Harumi Tomikawa(富川春美)managed to pass into Onyanko Club. Utsumi took on the club number of No. 13 and she was one of the main girls to sing in the group's debut "Sailor Fuku wo Nugasanaide" (セーラー服を脱がさないで).

Utsumi also had her brief solo career between 1986 and 1989 including this number, "Kaze wa Endless Story" (The Wind is an Endless Story), her 4th and final single released in July 1989. With an accompanying rhythm that I would call a slow disco handled by Masataka Matsutoya(松任谷正隆), "Kaze wa Endless Story" is a pleasant enough mid-tempo tune and Utsumi has a pretty steady-on voice. Shun Taguchi(田口俊)provided the lyrics of a girl and her beau running carefree into the future. Unfortunately, according to J-Wiki, the song apparently didn't rank on the charts. However, from that year, Utsumi decided to take up a new hobby, car racing.
