Sinon feat. Chikuzen Sato -- mystery

Always like a good soulful song. Always like the vocal stylings of Chikuzen Sato(佐藤竹善)from Sing Like Talking. Happily enough, I've often gotten both at the same time.

No mystery then about my affinity for this song, though it is called "mystery". This is a duet between Sato and Aomori Prefecture-born singer Sinon(シノン). A track from Sinon's 3rd album from 2017, "Trinity", it's an interesting blend of a smoothly flowing and mellow mid-tempo number that ought to go well from the speakers during Sunday brunch and an anchored beat that comes in and out like a suspense movie trying to butt in...kinda reminds me of a riff from Spandau Ballet's "Gold".

Nice duet especially since Sato also hails from Aomori Prefecture. According to the write-up at YouTube, singer-songwriter K was behind words and music. As for Sinon, she made her debut in 2013 with either the album "Suwari Gogochi no Ii Isu"(すわりごこちのいい椅子...A Comfortable Chair)or "Sukoshi Arukou yo"(すこし歩こうよ...Let's Walk A Bit) (depending on the page you go to on her website, the albums are switched in terms of their release timeline). Just from those titles, I get the impression that Sinon could be a specialist in very calming music.
