Ahhh...yes. Morning on Deck 16 on the Harmony of the Seas back in 2017. Sunny weather with a hint of a breeze...just the environment for a leisurely breakfast.
To be honest, I had something a little more robust than what my other family members had. It wasn't just fruit and granola on yogurt. Try double helpings of sausages and hash browns! 😄
Still, I think this track "Morning Breeze" probably best accompanies the fruit and yogurt because it is so sweet and calming. The late composer Katsuhisa Hattori(服部克久)was responsible for this one and its track mates on "Lotus Dream" (1997), the 14th in his long-running series of instrumentals known as "Ongaku Batake"(音楽畑...Music Field). Mind you, there are some really lush moments thanks to those strings and I wonder if "Morning Breeze" would have been ideal as part of a soundtrack for a J-Drama. Henry Mancini and Arthur Fiedler were most likely nodding in appreciation. You can also check out his AOR entry for the 2nd album in "Ongaku Batake", "Juicy and Crispy" (which describes my sausage and hash browns to a tee).
