Since we're going into Monday as I type this, I thought I would introduce this burst of techno orange juice to you via the good people at PSY-S. This was originally released as the B-side of "Brand New Menu" back in 1985. Unfortunately I never came across this single for my collection but I did buy a later version via the mini-album "Psy-S Presents Collection" in 1987. The original version comes with added alarm clock sounds for your waking....or trashing...pleasure.
I've been a fan of Japanese popular music for 40 years, and have managed to collect a lot of material during that time. So I decided I wanted to talk about Showa Era music with like-minded fans. My particular era is the 70s and 80s (thus the "kayo kyoku"). The plus part includes a number of songs and artists from the last 30 years and also the early kayo. So, let's talk about New Music, aidoru, City Pop and enka.

PSY-S -- Wake Up
