Neighbors Complain -- Night Drivin'

 

Nothing like a night drive through a prosperous municipality such as Monaco to enjoy the good life. J Utah is the fellow with the good driving videos.

I only found out about this Osaka J-R&B band Neighbors Complain recently through YouTube, and I'm enjoying the cut of their jib. "Night Drivin'" comes from their July 2017 debut album, "NBCP", and it's a pretty chill groove n' funk fest...just the type of song to play on the car stereo while cruising through the metropolis. I see the director of the music video also likes using that mirror reflection technique to display a futuristic city.

Nothing on J-Wiki but Neighbors Complain has their website from which I discovered that they had started up in 2014. It's a four-man lineup consisting of vocalist/keyboardist Oto, guitarist Gotti, bassist Kash and drummer Taka. They've released seven original albums, four EPs and six singles up to 2021. As for how the band got its name, before their official debut, they were busking on the streets where they were often asked whether they weren't bothering the neighbourhood with their loud sound. Well, the inquirers got their answer with every band introduction, I guess.
