Mari Iijima -- People!People!People!

 

Never heard of this NTV 80s quiz program in Japan called "World Quiz The Bikkuri Chikkyu Jin!"（ワールドクイズ ザ・びっくり地球人!...World Quiz the Surprising Earthlings! ）but it sounds like the typical game show with celebrity contestants trying to unravel a problem. There was a virtual fleet of these shows all over the television dial back in the day.

One commenter for this video exclaimed that he watched the show which also had the subtitle of "Wonderful People" just to hear the bubbly ending theme song. I can understand since "People!People!People!" was created and sung by Mari Iijima（飯島真理）as her 7th single in May 1987. I swear, the lady could cure a rainy day and the common cold at the same time with her music. Not sure whether "People!People!People!" ever got onto an original album but it does appear on one of Iijima's BEST compilations, "The Classics" which was released in January 1993.
