Well, here I was last night stating that my previous Author's Pick was going to the final one for 2024, and then this opportunity comes along. Four weeks to go...what else can happen?
First off, congratulations to Japan for getting that UNESCO recognition for traditional sake brewing as an Intangible Cultural Asset. All those who have been steady viewers of KKP probably realize that I don't drink a whole lot but I have appreciated the higher brands of sake such as Kubota and Hakkaisan. One Cup Ozeki...not so much.
In any case, in commemoration of the news, I'm providing my own list of "sake" songs.
