Satori Matsumoto -- Miss Magic

I've been looking at reruns of that anime adaptation of the manga "Tejina Sempai"(手品先輩...Magical Sempai) once more and although it appears that the 2019 season will probably remain the only season since the manga itself finished off its run about a year ago, I've still been enjoying the hijinks of the goofy sempai and her long-suffering assistant.

Now, this song has nothing to do with either the manga or the anime, but it still has that title "Miss Magic". Originally released in September 1986, this was Satori Matsumoto's(松本さとり)second and final single. With her debut single having come out more than a year previously, I gather that Matsumoto was one of those many blink-and-you'll-miss-her aidoru of the 1980s that didn't quite hit the regular spotlight. The only other information for Matsumoto could be found at "Idol.ne.jp"; she hails from Hyogo Prefecture and her talents include minyo and the shamisen.

As it is, though, her "Miss Magic" isn't badly performed at all although maybe it was just the fact that she didn't quite stand out among the many other aidoru who had appeared at the time. The song was composed by Nagisa Hagiwara(萩原渚)but I couldn't find the proper way to pronounce the lyricist's name despite checking out the search engines, and both given and family names have several ways of being said. If anyone knows the right way to pronounce 「宗裕子」, please let me know.
